Background and Experience
Richard graduated from San Jose State University. Before starting our firm Richard was a sole practitioner and prior to beginning his own practice, Richard worked for 8 years as a controller for a construction company. In 1980 with his wife Lucinda, Richard started a firm out of their home. They moved to the current location in 2004. As needed, Richard has represented clients before the Internal Revenue Service, and testified as an expert witness. Using the latest technology to continue the growth of the practice, we are able to also provide personal service to clients. Richard is a of member the American Institute of Certified Pulic Accountants, the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, QuickBooks® Professional Advisors Program. Personal Background Richard started coaching soccer when their oldest child was five years old, and continued until their youngest graduated from high school in 1997. In addition, they were both involved in PTA and School Site Council during their children's schools years. Family has always been important to Richard and Lucinda, and it is a major reason they chose to start a home based business. It allowed them to schedule around their children's activities and to be there for them.
